The DRÄXLMAIER Group received the Volkswagen Group Award 2017 in the "New Mobility Solutions" category. This prize acknowledges the successful cooperation between the supplier and the premium brand Porsche. Together with the DRÄXLMAIER Group, Porsche is the first to develop a battery system that is based on an 800 volt technology. This innovation enables previously unattainable driving performance and charging speed and sets standards in sporting e-mobility.
The DRÄXLMAIER Group is one of the best employers in the entire automotive industry. In 2018, the company received the Top Employer Germany Automotive award – for the eleventh time in a row. This prestigious prize is only given to companies that have distinguished themselves by their high employee orientation. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles presented the DRÄXLMAIER Group with the Qualitas Award 2016. DRÄXLMAIER is the "Overall Supplier EMEA 2016", and with that, the best supplier in the categories of Quality, Technology and Partnership in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). DRÄXLMAIER is the largest interior systems supplier for Maserati, one of the premium brands of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
The DRÄXLMAIER Group received an elogistics award in the category of network control for the TISS solution (Transport Information and Control System), which DRÄXLMAIER developed together with the service provider Leogistics. At its 31st annual congress in Saarbrücken, the AKJ Automotive work group that has representatives from all the reputable OEMs honored international submissions that combine logistics and information processing in an exemplary fashion.
At Supplier Day 2016 Mercedes Benz Thailand awarded prizes to its local and regional suppliers for the services they provided in 2014 and 2015. DRÄXLMAIER Malaysia received the "Local Contents Parts Supplier of the Year" award for the second time in a row. The repeated award is yet another acknowledgement of the excellent achievements of the DRÄXLMAIER Group for product quality and delivery reliability.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles presented the DRÄXLMAIER Group with the 2015 Qualitas Award. With this award, the automaker acknowledges the best of its 1,000 suppliers in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in 18 categories every year. The DRÄXLMAIER Group is one of the companies in Germany that shows the greatest growth potential. In 2015, DRÄXLMAIER was presented with the Top 500 award for sustainable growth by the German newspaper, Die Welt. Every year, a blue-ribbon jury closely examines the 500 largest German companies on behalf of the Welt-Gruppe and the management consulting firm Accenture. Those who have distinguished themselves by particularly strong and continuous growth are awarded the Top 500 prize. The jury also judges how innovative the companies are and how solid and profitable their business models are. In 2015, DRÄXLMAIER ranked third.
DRÄXLMAIER Group is among the winners in the product design category of this year's Red Dot Award with the composite material DecoSOUL (Structured Organic Unlimited Layering). A jury consisting of 38 design experts was impressed by the quality and innovative characteristics of the novel designer material presented by the global automotive supplier.
On April 11, 2013, the DRÄXLMAIER Group received in Munich the BMW Supplier Innovation Award in the category of “New Technology Experience” for the natural fiber door panel of the BMW i3. For the first time, it was possible to combine a door carrier made from the tropical kenaf plant with a paper-thin film, thereby making it possible to see and experience the natural fiber. The use of oil-based plastics can be reduced through the use of renewable raw materials.
On Nov. 13, 2013, the DRÄXLMAIER Group was honored in Berlin with the BME Innovation Award for its highly successful cross-functional purchasing strategy. The German Federal Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics e.V. (BME) granted the award for the high degree of transparency and validity of the purchasing concept throughout the global supply chain. As the moderator of the essential company interfaces, the purchasing department provided the decisive contribution for a successful corporate strategy.
